Kmiecik, Francis J.
Lawyer. Born on Oct. 6, 1897 in Freeland, Pa.; the son of John and Tecla Kmiecik. Received elementary education in parochial and public schools. Graduated from the Ohio University, John Carrol Law School with LL.B. and LL.M. In 1922 admitted to the Bar. Since that time practices law in Cleveland, Ohio. Married Irene Hudak in 1925, have four children. Very active in civic and social work in Cleveland. Member of Cleveland, County and National Bar Ass'ns, Polish Lawyers Ass'n, Polish National Alliance, Eagles Club, Elks. Hobby: farming and tree planting. In 1930 unsuccessful candidate as a judge for the Common Pleas Court. In 1940 a candidate for the U.S. Congress from the 20th district. Residence: 2963 Scranton Ave., Cleveland, Ohio.
