Born Dec. 6, 1940, Skarzysko-Kamienna, Poland; came to U.S., 1987; daughter of Franciszek and Maria (Karolczak); child: Izabela.

Education: Master of Arts (M.A.) (in teaching), 1966, Master of Arts (M.A.) (in voice) (with distinction), 1968. Lodz Academy of Music (Poland); courses with Julia Gorzechowska, Olga Olgina, Vladimir Ruzdjak.

Career: opera singer, Lodz Grand Theater; guest singer, Warsaw Grand Theater, Poznan Grand Theater, Wroclaw Opera, Bydgoszcz Opera, 1967-89; instructor (voice). Music High School, 1978-81, Lodz; prof. (voice), Lodz Academy of Music, 1981-87.

Author: singer, oratorio and mass in Requiem by G. Verdi, mass in B Minor by J. S. Bach, mass in C Minor by W. A. Mozart, La Pettite Messe Solennele by G.Rossini. and in operas as: Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte by W.A. Mozart, Amneris in Aida by G. Verdi, Eboli in Don Carlos by G.
