Kodis, Victor Seraphin
Teacher. Born April 24, 1913, Holyoke, Mass.; son of Serafin and Leokadja Kodis. Education: Holyoke High School, 1931; Springfield College, Mass., 1931-35, B.S. degree; Springfield College, Mass., 1936-38, M.A. in Ed. degree; Columbia University Teachers College, part time study in Administration of Secondary Schools, 1938-39. While at College, received Varsity letters in Football, Wrestling, and Track for three seasons each; Physiology tutor, 1934. Coach of Freshmen, Football team, 1936. Waterfront director at the Springfield College Day Camp during Summer Seasons, 1934-1939; Director of Y.M.C.A. Day Camp of Holyoke, 1941-1942. Teacher of Health and Physical Education at the Buckingham Junior High School, Springfield, Mass., since 1937, also coach of Hockey, Track, and Football at the Commerce High School.
