Koleski, Joseph P.
Attorney-at-law. Born in Poland, March 19, 1884. Came to U.S. as a boy; elementary education at St. Adalbert's parochial school, and St. Casimir's parochial school, St. Paul, Minn. Worked during the day to help his widowed mother raise seven other children. Studied during evenings. Graduated from St. Paul College of Law. Was first Polish-American lawyer in Minneapolis, Minn. In 1919 married Anna Magier with whom he had two sons and one daughter. Director and legal adviser of Second Northwestern State Bank and director of Northeast Investment Company.
