Member of: fellow, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE); tutor, Aiken County Literary Council (president, 1987); secretary, Polish Historical Association of South East, Aiken, 1985-90; South Carolina Society of Engineers; Knights of Columbus.
Served with: U.S. Army, World War II, aviation engineer battalion, staff/sergeant, 1943-46.
