Clergyman. Born April 10, 1873 in Jawiszowice, Poland. Studied in Wadowice and Krakow. In 1893 came to U.S.; studied philosophy at the Polish Seminary in Detroit, Mich., and theology at St. Francis Seminary, St. Francis, Wis. Ordained in 1897. From 1897 to 1900 pastor of St. Hedwig's parish in Posen (Thorp), Wis. From Nov. 7, 1901 to June 9, 1904 pastor of Sacred Heart parish in Pine Creek, Wis. From 1904 to 1909 pastor of St. Lawrence parish in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. From 1922 to date, pastor of Holy Cross parish in La Crosse, Wis. Organized several Polish parishes in Wisconsin: Strickland (Kosciuszko), Thorp (Posen), Prentice, Kannan, Tony, Wyerhauser (Kopernik), Apolonia. Diocesan consultor. Member of Matrimonial Tribunal.
