Kordas, Rev. Joseph, O.M.C.
Priest and editor. Born in Poland, July 16, 1879. Ordained July 9, 1905 in Poland. Came to America in 1905. Served in various capacities: as Master of Novices; as preacher; as editor. Has upward of 1,000 unprinted sermons on hand. Sole founder of the periodical "Kronika Seraficka" in 1927, has edited the magazine practically single-handed for 14 consecutive years. Well versed in Polish, English, Latin and German. Noted for style in writing, has a few peers in Polish prose. Also erstwhile classmate of General Wladyslaw Sikorski, from whom he has received an autographed token of friendship (cf. Kronika Seraficka, Vol. XIV, No. 9, page 276). Likewise classmate of Consul General in Canada, Wiktor Podoski.
