Career: prof., chairman emeritus, Department of Pathology, A. Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx (NY).

Author: 10 books; 28 book chapters; over 330 scientific publications.

Member of: German Academy of Sciences; numerous professional organizations.

Honors: A. Jurzykowski Award for medicine, 1990; numerous scientifical awards and honors; listed in: Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World.

Served with: Polish Army, France, 1940; U.S. Army, major, 1954-56.
