Kostecki, Joseph Louis
Physician and surgeon. Born in New York, N. Y., Nov. 19, 1905; son of John Kostecki and Maria Trautman. Received Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Brown University in 1928. Granted M.D. degree by New York University, School of Medicine, in 1932. Married Helen Klass, Aug. 11, 1934. Has three children. Assisting attending surgeon at St. Johns Hospital, Long Island City, N. Y. Assistant surgeon at Queens General Hospital. High Medical Examiner for Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn since 1939. Member of the Executive Board, Pulaski Memorial Committee. Member of the Advisory Board, Selective Service, during World War II. Clubs: Echo Singing Society, Moniusko Musical Society. Joined the U.S. Army Medical Corps in 1942. Residence and office: 626 Leonard St., Brooklyn, N. Y.
