Engineer. In 1863 was an officer in the Russian Army. Joined the Polish insurrection against Russia in 1863. Emigrated to Turkey, where he lived until 1870. Organizer of the Federation of the Polish Nation in Lwow. In 1877 lectured in England on Polish cause. In 1892 issued a proclamation to the Polish nation. Organized in Chicago, Ill., the Union of Polish Youth in 1894. Died April 8, 1904 in Lwow, Poland.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
