Kowala, Valentine
Civic leader. Born Feb. 11, 1882 in Krzemienica, Poland. Came to U.S. in 1900, and settled in St. Louis, Mo. Since 1902 member of P.R.C.U. Organized St. Hedwig's Society. Delegate to National Convention of P.R.C.U. Elected vice-president of P.R.C.U. for the state of Missouri, in 1909, and re-elected in 1911.
