Kowalewski, Henry
Industrialist. Born 1889 in Winona, Minn. Educated in local schools. Has wide knowledge of all phases of fishing industry. Traveled extensively all over the North American Continent. Secretary of two large wholesale fish houses in New York City with branches in Bay City, Wis., Neppel, Wash, Mt. Clemens, Mich., Warroad, Minn. Superintendent of the Red Lake Fisheries Association in Redby, Minn. for six years. This is an Indian reservation under the jurisdiction of the U. S. Bureau of Indian Affairs. Retired to a quiet life, operating a nationally known fish restaurant in his home town, where he employs 20 people. Secretary of the Winona Civic Association.
