Engineer, professor. Born Dec. 24, 1885. Graduated from the Pratt Institute and University of Michigan with B.S. and MS. degrees. Also a professor of mechanical engineering. From 1917 to 1929 director and professor of the Technical Institute of P.N.A., Cambridge Springs, Pa. From 1929, to date, professor of mechanical engineering at Lewis Institute, Chicago, Ill.
