Author: book on Montesquieu; numerous articles on eighteen century French literature and culture, i.a. in: Studies on Voltaire and the Eighteenth Century, Romance Notes, Studi Francesi, European Writers, French Women and the Age of Enlightenment, The Complete Works of Voltaire, Revue Belge de Philologie et d'Histoire, Eighteenth Century Studies.
