Teacher, novelist and social worker. Born (nee Kowalewski), in Minneapolis, Minn. Received elementary, secondary, college and university education in Minneapolis, Minn. ln 1937 wrote "No Man Alone" for which she received first prize and 1000 dollars. Later wrote "Quilts." Contributor to The Country Home Magazine. Author of many articles and short stories. In 1939 received a decoration by the government of Poland for her work as writer and social worker. Married.
