Kromolicki, Rev. John
Author. Born in Kozmin, Poland, August 14, 1882; son of John Kromolicki and Frances (Styburski) Kromolicki. Received his elementary and secondary education in Poland. He came to U.S. in 1902 and was ordained to the holy priesthood June 7, 1907, by the late Bishop Trobec at St. John's Abbey. Collegeville, Minn. Author of several books including the "Battle of Conscience" and "The Last Struggle." Former pastor of St. Rose Church, St. Rose, Minn. Now pastor of St. Hedwig's Church, Holdingford, Minn. To his intimates and to his flock he is known as Father "John", a genial and veteran traveler in many parts of Europe, a thorough going scholar. In 1942 he erected a beautiful community soldiers' shrine at Holdingford.
