Krukowski (Corvin), Rev. Boniface, S.J.
Born on August 4, 1777 In Wilno, Poland. Joined the Jesuit Order on August 13, 1795 in Polock. Made his profession August 25, 1804; ordained in
1809. Professor at the Jesuit College, Polock, Russia; later engaged in Riga until July 2, 1820. Came to England in 1820 and in 1822 came to U. S. Assistant at the Jesuit Mission, Gohenhoppen, Pa., and later a pastor. Missionary in Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh and Schuylkill Counties. Built a magnificent church in 1835.
