Krzyzan, Rev. Caesarius
Clergyman. Born Aug. 25, 1885 in Poland the son of Matthew and Michaeline Padzik-Krzyzan. Came to U. S. in 1894 settling in Erie, Pa., where he graduated from St. Stanislaus parochial school. Attended St. Joseph College, Teutopolis, Ill., and studied at St. Bonaventure College, Pulaski, Wis. and Polish Seminary, Detroit, Mich. Philosophy and theology at St. Bernard Seminary, Rochester, N. Y.; ordained June 10, 1911. From 1915 to 1928 pastor of Holy Rosary parish, Buffalo, N. Y. Since 1928 pastor of Holy Apostles Ss. Peter and Paul parish, Buffalo, N. Y, In 1923 decorated with a Cross of "Polonia Restituta" and "Miecze Hallerowskie." In 1934 he was decorated with a gold Cross of Merit for his services rendered to Independence of Poland.
