Kuczwalski, William J.
Attorney at law. Born in Schnectady, N. Y. in 1899. Graduated from New Jersey Law School in 1929 and served his clerkship and acted as assistant with the managing attorney in the law firm of Root, Clark, Buckner and Ballantine. A member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association. He was a leader in Polish-American circles in the borough of Brooklyn, heading the Polish-American Participation Committe for the Worlds Fair. A delegate to the Constitutional Convention in 1938. He was appointed in December of 1941 as Kings County Deputy Assistant District Attorney by District Attorney William F. X. Geoghan. He resigned on June 21, 1939, but when William F. O'Dwyer took over the Geoghan post in January, 1940, he was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney. Member of Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn and numerous other Polish organizations. Member of the executive board and former treasurer of General Pulaski Memorial Committee in New York City. Died August 24, 1942.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
