Kuczynski, Rev. Joseph
Roman Catholic clergyman. Born in Bydgoszcz, Poland, September 22, 1882. Studied at Naklo, Poland; Frieburg, Switzerland; Louvain, Belgium. Ordained to holy priesthood July 14, 1907 at Louvain. Came to U. S. shortly thereafter. First assignment as curate at St. Stanislaus Church, Philadelphia, Pa., 1907 1908; Pastor of St. Kunegunda parish, McAdoo, Pa., 1909-1910; Pastor of St. Stanislaus Church, Minersville, Pa., 1910-1912. Since February 7, 1912 pastor of St. Ladislaus Church, Philadelphia, Pa. Former professor of Polish at the Theological Seminary, Overbrook, Pa., from 1917 to 1935.
