Kufel, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Lucian
Clergyman. Born in Poznan, Poland, Jan. 5, 1879. When 13 came to U. S. Graduated from St. Josaphat's parochial school, and St. Josaphat's High School; Polish Seminary, Orchard Lake, Mich. and St. Bonaventure Seminary, Allegheny, N. Y. Ordained Aug. 23, 1908 in La Crosse, Wis. In 1908 pastor at Friendship, Wis., later pastor at Siegel, Wis. and pastor of Holy Cross parish, La Crosse, for 8 years. Pastor of St. Stanislaus, Arcadia, Wis., 1920-1922. On Sept. 22, 1922 appointed pastor of SS. Peter and Paul parish, Independence, Wis. Address: SS. Peter and Paul Church, Independence,. Wis.
