Kuflewski, Walter August
Physician and surgeon. Born May 26, 1870 in Jaroszew, Poland. In 1886 came to U.S., graduated from the Chicago College of Pharmacy and became a pharmacist. Graduated from the Chicago College of Physicians and Surgeons and received M.D. degree on April 3, 1894. In 1895 appointed doctor of Polish Hospital in Chicago, Ill. In 1886 elected chief medical examiner of the Polish National Alliance in Chicago. In 1897 assistant and in 1898 professor of surgery at Chicago Clinical School. On June 2, 1901 appointed a surgeon of the Cook County Hospital. From July 9,1902 to May 22, 1907 member of the Chicago Board of Education, and on July 11, 1906 elected vice-president and member of Finance Company. Member of the American, Illinois and Chicago Medical Associations, Polish Medical Association. Address: 1660 W. Division Street, Chicago, Ill.
