Education: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (in economics and sociology), Mt. Holyoke College, South Hadley (MA), 1951; Master of Science (M.S.) (in education - counseling), Hunter College, New York City, 1974.

Career: caseworker, 1960-85, resettlement program coordinator, 1985-88, resettlement vice president, 1988-95, International Rescue Committee - IRC, executive vice president, Nowy Dziennik - Polish Daily News, 1995 -, New York City.

Member of: Women's Commission for Refugee Women and Children; Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America (P.I.A.S.A.).

Honors: Freedom Award (for lifetime devotion to the cause of refugees and human freedom). International Rescue Committee - IRC, 1995.
