Nagorznik, Rev. John, C.R.
Teacher. Born March 1, 1882 in Wielka Wies near Gdansk, Poland. Came to Chicago with his parents in 1883. Studied at St. Stanislaus College and graduated 1897 and entered the Novitiate of Resurrection Fathers. Made his vows in Cracow, Poland, 1898 and was sent to Rome, Italy to study philosophy and theology. Ordained May 7, 1905 in Chicago, Ill. On account of his health was sent to St. Mary's College, Saint Mary, Ky. He interrupted his teaching and went to Texas. Died Nov. 4, 1908.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
