Nalbor, Francis
Artist and art teacher. Born in Stevens Point, Wis., Feb. 6, 1888 of Polish parents. Graduated from State Teachers College, Stevens Point, Wis.; in 1936 obtained his B.A. degree at the Arts Institute of Chicago. Held positions as art teacher in various schools; also at the Chicago Art Institute and the State Normal School, Stevens Point, Wis. Received gold medal for his civic flag design, and granted a scholarship by the Kosciuszko Foundation in 1927 to study at the University of Cracow and the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts.
