Social Worker. Born in Chicago, Ill. In 1910 elected general secretary at the national convention of the Polish Women's Alliance in America, in Milwaukee, Wis., reelected in 1912, 1914 and 1916. ln 1918 at the national convention of said organization elected national president, and reelected in 1921, 1924, 1927, and 1931. For her services rendered, to reborn Poland, decorated by the Polish Government with the "Cross of Polonia Restituta," "Miecze Hallerowskie," "Krzyz Slaski," "Komandoria Krzyza z Rzymu," and Silver Cross of Merit. Vice-president of the Civil Service Commission of Cook County, Chicago, Ill. Member of Chicago Safety Council. Decorated by the Holy See. Member of the Women's Peace Conference at Hague in 1915. One of the best known and most active women of Polish descent in U.S. Died February 1943 in Hinsdale, Ill.
