Nowakowski, Rev. Ladislaus
Roman Catholic clergyman. Received his preliminary education in Meriden, Conn. Ordained to holy priesthood in 1920. First assignment as curate of St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden and in 1923 was transferred as assistant pastor to Sacred Heart Church, New Britain, Conn. In 1928 appointed pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Wallingford, Conn. Called by many as "Father Sunshine" for his pleasing personality. Residence: 139 N. Orchard Street, Wallingford, Conn.
