JACK RADGOWSKI
Jack Radgowski founded Central Semiconductor Corp. of Hauppauge, New York in 1974, and to this day, serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Over the years the company has grown to be an internationally recognized quality manufacturer of discrete semiconductors.
A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Radgowski has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Prior to founding Central Semiconductor with his late wife, Dorothy, Mr. Radgowski held numerous engineering and managerial positions with companies such as Litton Industries. Bendix Semiconductor. General Instrument Corp. and CSR Industries, Inc., where he served as president.
A native of the New York metropolitan area, Mr. Radgowski is a long-time and very generous supporter of the Polish American community and of the Kosciuszko Foundation in particular. Mr. Radgowski is also active in supporting the Polish Institute of Arts and Science, the Polish Gift of Life, the Polish American Museum, the Polish American Dancers of Long Island (Hejnal), the Polish National Club, and AMPOLA. His wide community service includes membership on the Board of Directors of the Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Suffolk County, as well as involvement and support of the Family Service League, the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Mather Hospital, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He is a member and supporter of the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, a member of the Bishop's Council of Stewards of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, a Patron of the Carnegie hall Foundation, and a supporter of the Long Island Philharmonic and the Harbor Country Day School.
