Rakoczy, Adolph
Civic leader. Born 1869 in Poland. Came to U.S. in 1893 and settled in Philadelphia, Pa.; former teacher in parochial schools and an organist. In 1899 married a teacher, Ann Leymel; left two sons: Ralph, an attorney in New York, and Harold, an engineer in Fresno, Cal. In 1913 elected vice-censor of P.N.A., and in 1914 elected also a delegate to several national conventions of P.N.A. Considered one of the most active leaders in the P.N.A. Died in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., in 1941.
