Rapacz, Rev. Vincent, C.R.
Clergyman. Born April 5, 1865 in Lublin, Poland; son of Lawrence and Mary (Mikolajczyk) Rapacz. Secondary education in Krakow; in 1889 entered novitiate of Congregation of Resurrectionist Fathers in Krakow; studied theology in Lwow; ordained June 3, 1895 in Adrianopol, Turkey. Came to Chicago, III., Aug. 24, 1895; asst. at St. Stanislaus parish, Chicago, Ill., 1895 1899; asst. at St. John Kanty, 1899-1931; in 1903 appointed magister of Novitiate at St. Stanislaus College, Chicago, Ill. In 1914 served as pastor of St. John Kanty parish, Chicago, Ill. Died March 29, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois.
