Civic leader. Labor leader and organizer. Came to U.S. in 1885. Settled in Chicago, Ill. At the national convention of Polish National Alliance at Grand Rapids, Mich. elected vice-president, and in 1901 at the next convention in Toledo, Ohio, elected president of said organization.
