Ropp, Stefan
Economist. Professor of economics at Fordham University, New York City. Born in Poland, May 26, 1892. Attended the University of Birmingham in England and in Johannesburg, Union of So. America. Professor of economics at the Commercial College in Poznan, from 1926 to 1938. High Commissioner of Poland to the World's Fair in New York City during 1939 and 1940. Author of several books on economics and other related subjects. Since 1941 to date director of Polish Information Center. Lectured on economic problems at various American colleges and universities.
