Rostenkowski, Peter
Civic and social worker. Born 1868 in Poland and about 1886 came to Chicago, Ill. Elected president of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, later treasurer of said organization. Treasurer of the National Polish Committee during the first World War to help the Polish victims. For patriotic work decorated with "Polonia Restituta" by the Republic of Poland. Prominent in social, business and industrial circles of Chicago, Ill. Died June, 1936 in Chicago, Ill.
