Rubinstein, Michael
Biologist and physiologist. Born in Wilno, Poland, in 1908. Studied at Wilno and abroad. University of Wilno awarded him Doctor of Medicine "maxima cum laude" in 1932. Completed post-graduate studies in medicine at the University of Paris, University of Strasbourg and University of Vienna. Lecturer and professor at the University of Stefan Batory, Wilno, Poland. Came to U.S. in the summer of 1939 as a delegate to an International Congress held in Washington, D. C. Author of about 40 monographs on biology, physiology and medicine published in the French, Polish and German languages.
