Rudnicki, Thaddeus
Social worker. Scout executive. Since 1921 active in the youth movement Boy Scouts of America. Former scoutmaster of Troop No. 36, which was organized at the Win. Ives Branch of Buffalo Public Library. In 1928 he was invited by Most Rev. John Jasinski, Bishop of Polish National Catholic Church in Buffalo, N. Y. to organize a new scout troop by the Cathedral of Our Lady of Rosary and was immediately appointed its scoutmaster. Has remained in
this post until the present time. For his five year service in the scouting movement the Buffalo Council, Boy Scouts of America presented him with a service medal in 1932. The National Council of Boy Scouts of America awarded him a Scoutmasters Key for his services to the organization. In 1942 he was decorated with a "Silver Beaver," the highest award the Boy Scouts of America can give to any one. Is very active in the parish societies. Editor of "Cathedral Messenger," published by Our Lady of Rosary Cathedral in Buffalo, N. Y. Was a delegate to the Synod of Polish National Catholic Church. Resides in Buffalo, N.
