PubIic official. Came from Poznan, Poland, to Milwaukee in 1859; settled on Milwaukee Street, where he established a tailor shop. During the Civil War he made uniforms for the Union Army. In 1870 elected supervisor from Milwaukee, Wis. In 1878 he was again elected supervisor of the twelfth ward. Died Dec. 3. 1891, and was given a military funeral by the Kosciuszko Guards, which he organized in 1874. He was their first captain.
