Uss, Stephanie
Registered Nurse. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Uss. Graduate of the Thompson Grammar School, West Haven, Conn., West Haven High School, and in 1939 graduated from the School for Nurses of the Hospital of St. Raphael. Served as nurse at St. Raphael's and New Haven Hospital. Enlisted in the Army Nurses' Corps and commissioned second lieutenant. Serving in the South Pacific area, with a corps of nurses attached to the General Hospital No. 39, known as the Yale unit and made up largely of medical men and nurses from the New Haven Hospital. Residence: 103 Stevens Avenue, West Haven, Conn.
