Daughter of Joseph and Anna (Paluszewska) Swiatkowski. Ph.M., University of Krakow, 1931; member of the Order of the Felician Sisters with Motherhouse at Plymouth, Mich. Born in Detroit, Mich., 1895. Educated at the Sweetest Heart of Mary School, Academy of the Felician Sisters, Detroit Teachers College, and the University of Krakow (1926-1931), in Poland. First taught in various grade schools: St. Florian in Hamtramck, Mich., Our Lady of Czestochowa in New Kensington, Pa., Sacred Heart of Jesus in Braddock, Pa., St. Joseph in Jackson, Mich., St. Stanislaus in Bay City, Mich., St. Mary in Bronson, Mich., St. Andrew in Detroit, Mich., from 1912 to 1926. Instructor in Polish in St. Stanislaus High School, Academy of the Felician Sisters, Detroit and professor and head of the Polish Department in De Sales College, Toledo, Ohio, since 1936. Author of "First Polish Lessons," 1937.
