Zalewski, Boleslaus Joseph
Composer. Born Dec. 26, 1875 in Gostynin, Poland. Came to the U.S. with his father in 1892 and settled in Chicago, Ill., where he conducted orchestras and choral groups. In 1910 he established a music publishing enterprise. In 1924 he founded a weekly paper "Echo Muzyczne" (Musical Echo). Noted as a composer of many pieces for orchestras and choirs. He was once engaged at the Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago, Ill., as a solo singer. Address: 1505 W. Thomas Street, Chicago, Ill.
