Former Superior General of the Fathers of the Resurrection. Editor. Pedagogue. Lecturer. Born in 1874 in Lapanow, Poland. Educated in Nowy Sacz and Krakow. In 1890 joined the Order of the Fathers of the Resurrection in Rome. Ordained in 1897. Came to U.S., Dec. 2. 1900. From 1901 to 1909 professor of Polish at St. Stanislaus Kostka College. Chicago. Ill. From 1909 to 1920 rector of said college. Former Superior General of the Fathers of Resurrection, resided in Rome, Italy until recently, when in 1940 he returned to U.S. and serves as a missionary priest. Very active in patriotic, social and religious work. Member and general sec'y of the Polish National Council of America during World War I. Former sec'y of Union of Polish Priests in America. Former editor of Catholic Review (Przeglad Koscielny), later editor of "Dziennik Chicagoski" (Chicago Daily News). One of delegates of American Poles to Grunwald Celebration in 1910, Krakow, Poland.
