Zawadzki, Bohdan
Psychologist. Professor of Psychology. Born in Warsaw, Poland, March 10, 1902. In 1928 University of Warsaw granted him a degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Director of Psychological Laboratory at the Central Institute of Physical Education in Warsaw. Completed special studies at Harvard University, Columbia University and at the University of Vienna. Associate professor and director of Psychological Institute at the University of Stefan Batory, Wilno, Poland from 1935 to 1939. Came to U.S. in March, 1940. During the school year 1940-41 lecturer in Psychology at Wellesley College. Since Sept. 1941 Associate Professor of Psychology at Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, N. Y. Author of many monographs in his chosen field published in Polish and English languages. Corresponding member of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences in America.
