Marek Zebrowski (born: 1953)
Musician

In the footsteps of the distinguished Polish musicians, Marek Zebrowski, of Boston, has distinguished himself as an accomplished pianist.

Born in Poland in 1953, he began studying piano at the age of five. He concluded his formal musical education at the three levels of Music Schools in Poznan; then studied piano in France and simultaneously studied harmony, counterpoint, and composition with Nadia Boulanger.

In 1973 he began studies at the Conservatory of Music in Boston. Three years later he received his Bachelor of Music Degree and is now working for his Master's.

He has appeared publicly with the Symphony Orchestras in Poland as well as solo recitals in France, Finland and in many cities in the United States. He has played at the State House, Boston, for the Polish American Weeks.

Mr. Zebrowski is a faculty member of the Music Department of M.I.T. and U. Mass., Boston.
