Zielinski, Edward J., B.S., M.S.
Musician, teacher. Born Nov. 29, 1907 in Milwaukee, Wis. Valedictorian at the Boys Technical High School in 1926. Received Teachers Certificate in Flute, Wisconsin College of Music, 1930; degree of Bachelor of Science in Education from Milwaukee State Teachers College in 1931 and Master of Science from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis., in 1940. Director of Wisconsin College of Music Orchestra. Chosen to represent the First American Flutist in Europe of the American Legion Band, and won the International Championship at Geneva, Switzerland in 1934. Made stage and radio appearances as soloist with large orchestras, woodwind and string ensembles, etc. Teacher of mathematics and music at Pulaski High School, Milwaukee, Wis. Director, Society of Musical Arts. President of Mathematics Club of Milwaukee, Wis., 1939-1940. Charter member and president Young People's Orchestra. Residence: 1647 So. 6th St., Milwaukee, Wis.
