Clergyman. Born in New York, N.Y. Son of the Polish immigrants. Educated in the schools of New York City. Attended SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake, Mich. and completed his theological studies at St. Joseph's Seminary, Yonkers, N.Y. Ordained at St. Patricks Cathedral, New York City, by the late Cardinal Hayes. First assignment as assistant to St. Stanislaus parish, New York, N. Y., where he organized a drum and bugle corps and a school band. At the same time served as professor of music at St. Joseph's Seminary, Yonkers, N. Y. Transferred in 1940 as assistant to St. Casimir parish, Yonkers, N.Y. Appointed instructor of music and head of music department, Cardinal Hayes Memorial High School, New York, N.Y., serving in that post since 1941.
