Veronica A. Zierdt (nee Antolick), 93, of 31 Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Sunday at Wesbury U.M.C.
Born April 4,1917, in Hazleton, she was the daughter of Andrew Antolick and Veronica Deddy. She married Edwin H. Zierdt on Feb. 14, 1947. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Surviving are her daughter, Debra and husband Joseph Cirrincione, Meadville; daughter, Susan and husband, Merrill Kirshenbaum, Springfield, Va.; daughter, Kathryn Grubb, Berkeley Heights, N.J.; grandchildren, Andrew, Jeffrey and Jonathan Grubb; Stephen and Eric Kirshenbaum; and Catherine and Joseph Corrincione; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Antolick; mother, Veronica Deddy Antolick; husband, Edwin H. Zierdt, on Nov. 6, 1996; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Roofner-ColIins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, with the Rev. Ellen Rezek, Wesbury chaplain, officiating.
Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Greendale Cemetery West Mead Township.
