Haraburda, Stanislaus
Physician and surgeon. Lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy. Born in Chicago, where he attended local elementary school and graduated from Tuley High School. Studied at Crane Junior College and then attended Loyola University, School of Medicine, Chicago, Ill., from which he received M.D. degree in 1929. Interneship served at St. Margaret's Hospital, Hammond, Ind. and St. Catherines Hospital, Indiana Harbor, Ind. Married Mary Dreszler. Since 1930 engaged in the general practice of medicine. Director of "Public Federal" Building and Loan Assn. Member of Polish National Alliance of U.S. of N. America. In December, 1942 appointed Lieut. Commander of the U. S. Navy.
