Heilperin, Michal
Professor of political economy. Born in Warsaw, Poland, May 6, 1909. Studied in the universities of Switzerland. In 1931 University of Geneva granted him a degree of Doctor of Economic Science. From 1932 to 1935 lecturer at the University of Geneva. Special professor at the Inst. Universitaire de Hautes Etudes Internationales in Geneva from 1935 to 1938. Lecturer in the University of California, Berkeley, Cal., in 1939 and during the same year professor of international law in Hague, Switzerland. Came to U.S. in 1938. Lecturer at Bryn Mawr College during 1940 and 1941. Visiting assistant professor at Hamilton College. Member of Society of Polish Economists and Statisticians, Society of Economists in Cracow, Royal Economists Society in London, etc. Author of numerous monographs on political economy printed in various periodicals in U.S. and author of a booklet "International Monetary Organization," published in Paris by the International Institute of Intellectual Co-operation, League of Nations, 1939.
