Ted Herbert (Thaddeus Piaseczny)

Ted Herbert's appointment by Governor Meldrin Thompson to the New Hampshire Arts Commission in 1974, substantiates his impressive record of achievements in the field of music.

As the founder and leader of the Ted Herbert Orchestra, he has had extensive experiences in providing music and concerts for Hollywood Stars, for colleges and for the USO programs overseas.

Presently, he supervises the "Ted Herbert's Music Mart," a combination of teaching studios, employing fourteen instructors who teach over five hundred pupils per week and Retail Musical Instrument Sales. He Iectures and demonstrates musical instruments in the public schools. On weekends, he performs with the orchestra.

The musical environment that Ted furnishes his wife Gertrude (Warchol) and his three children, Ted, Jr.; and twins Marlene and Mark, is one of great happiness and satisfaction.

It is with pride that we, of the Federation, recognize his talent and services rendered to our neighboring state, New Hampshire.
