Horbaczewski, Rev. Joseph
Born in 1837 in Poland; was ordained in 1860. In 1863 took part in Polish insurrection against Russia; a bullet wound destroyed his jaw. From 1863 to 1880 was a refugee in France. In 1880 came to US, and settled at Milwaukee, Wis. From 1881-1883 pastor of St. Adalbert's Church, St. Paul, Minn. From Sept. 20, 1884 to Sept. 18, 1887 pastor of St. Stanislaus Church, Calumet, where he established a school. In 1888 became pastor of Polish Church in Wilno, Minn.
