Hordynski, Joseph
Author and soldier. Major of 10th Division of Lancers of Lithuania. First Pole to come to America after the Insurrection of Poland in 1830. Settled in Boston, Mass. Author of "The History of the late Polish Revolution," and the "Events of the Campaign" (Boston, 1833 -- 2nd edition).
